In order to minimise the feeling of movement, most ships have stabilisers and the captain will make every effort to choose a route thats avoids bad weather. Seasickness is therefore not common on large, modern ships. If you do feel unwell, medicine will be available from the on-board pharmacy, medical facility or cabin steward. If you are prone to motion sickness, you should consult your doctor before your cruise.
