Most ships have a medical facility which is staffed by qualified doctors and nurses. Use of the facility for consultations or prescriptions will usually incur an extra charge as they are operated outside of British health services. The medical facility is not designed to provide ongoing treatment for existing conditions so if you anticipate a need for specific medical services, you will need to make us aware of this when you make an enquiry to ensure the cruise line can accomodate your needs. Women who will be more than 24 weeks into pregnancy during the cruise may not be able to travel due to the limited access to appropriate facilities. If you are taking ongoing medication, please ensure you bring adequate amounts which will last the duration of your cruise.
